Pedigrees / Birth Certificates

Be sure to be prepared for your new bunny. If you don't know something, ask!
We have a page with info for
New Bunnies that covers pretty much all you need for starting out.
Please take the time to read it if you are new to English Angora bunnies.

All bunnies purchased from us will come with a generic pedigree from The Global Pedigree Project that is emailed to you. We use Global Pedigree for our pedigrees that we email only.   It is a quick way of networking and keeping records online. These are free, no extra fees.

We also make a custom pedigree and birth certificate that we use for our home grown bunnies.   These are upon request only and we charge $15 each now because of all the time involved in making each one. We have an official stamp that we use to emboss our Logo that is put on each pedigree and birth certificate.

Pedigrees are signed by Ahnika and we mail these out after the new owners give us their bunnies name.  Owners will still receive an emailed copy of the Global pedigree as well.  If you are picking up your bunny in person at our home, we ask that you give us 48 hours notice of wanting these custom BC or Pedigrees and we can have them ready at pick up.

The picture at the top of this page is Ahnika signing one of the pedigrees.

If you would like a CBB custom pedigree and birth certificate for your bunny, please let us know!

Here is Ahnika again with her pedigrees and birth certificates at her desk.  She signs all of the pedigrees and stamps all of the birth certificates.

The Country Bumpkin Bunnies official birth certificates have  the bunnies information, parents names and pictures of the litter, mom, dad and bunny itself on them.  They are cute and fun for Ahnika to make!

Meet Our Bunny Bumpkins Team

Hi! I'm the heart behind every bunny you see on this website. I fell in love with these fluffy babies and had to have them. I socialize them and spend time with them every chance I get. Occasionally I feed and clean but I'm usually caught slacking on that part of the job and excelling at snuggling them 100% of the time.

aHnika - Chief Bunny SNUGgler

I am the chief groomer, cleaner and feeder. I TRY to leave the snuggling to the kids although these sweet fur balls have become a quick obsession of mine. I find myself giving bunny kisses often. I take the blame for the excessive number of bunnies we own lol.

I'm the errand boy. Anything they need, I go get it. I pick up about 600 lbs of feed and a couple bales of hay every two weeks!  I'm also caught trying to train the baby bunnies to come to me right out of the nest box as soon as their eyes open (every litter). I can't resist these cute little bunnies.

dad – errand boy

I am the brains behind the genetics and planned litters. I take most of the pictures and videos and handle all the finances of the biz. My kids are infatuated with every single bunny and enjoy getting to hold the bunnies when allowed. Sometimes they even get to help water the bunnies.

at country bumpkin bunnies we adore our bunnies

'Rabbits have a subtle repertoire of body language to communicate so they don't draw attention to themselves. They use these signals to bond with their hutch mates, and the humans in their lives to say 'I love you'.
